Bucket List Goals

So at the beginning of 2018 I wrote a post all about my bucket list goals for that year. This was to create a positive list of things I wanted to achieve rather than focus on the negative. Check it out here . I wanted to update you on how many goals I actually achieved, and even though we are now in March (I cannot believe how time is flying!), I will add a few goals soon for this coming year.

So let's see what ones I am so happy to say I did achieve:

1. Visit a new country

I got the opportunity to travel to a new country last year, as I went on holiday to Gran Canaria in the summer. It was such a beautiful island and I had the pleasure of exploring this country with my sister, nephew and Mum. Such great memories, amazing food, and I managed to get some much needed relaxation.

2. Go to a country music gig

Over the last couple of years I have developed my love and appreciation for far more genres of music. One of these being country music. Last year I got to go to three amazing gigs, Country to Country 2018 at the Bluebird Cafe, Clare Bowan from Nashville and Kiefer Sutherland's album gig for my brother's birthday. I am so excited to go to this year's main event for C2C 2019 at the O2 with Christ Stapleton headlining on the Sunday. Can't wait!

13. Try fishing

This was such a fun experience. We went to Torquay in the summer and stayed in a beautiful B&B. One of the trips we got to experience was mackerel fishing which was so much fun. We took a boat out of the harbor and spent a few hours in the beautiful sunshine trying to catch mackerel. I am happy to say I did catch one yay! Can't wait to try more fishing trips.

17. Go Glamping.

I half met this goal as last year I got to stay in a beautiful Shepherd's hut in Norfolk. Check out my post here for more details. I love pushing myself out of my comfort zone and this glamping option was an awesome way to spend my birthday. I loved setting the fire and getting all cosy under blankets enjoying the peaceful views.

 18. Start a Capsule Wardrobe

This goal is not yet complete but slowly getting there. I moved at the end of last year to my new place so I was able to deal with my wardrobe and clear out the clothes that I had not worn and that no longer sparked joy as Marie Kondo would say! I still want to pick up some items for my capsule wardrobe but did make a start with my recent Boohoo haul.

I am so happy I go to tick off a few of my bucket list goals, but definitely want to keep checking these off the list this year along with making some more. I will share my 2019 bucket list goals soon on my blog.

What are some of your goals you want to achieve this year?

    1. Aww thanks so much! Yes it's such an awesome thing especially when thinking workwear. You get some key pieces as staples in your wardrobe and then mix and match. x
