The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% EGCG is the first product I have bought from their range as I really wanted to try their eye serum. Over the last few months I have noticed my under eye area has been changing (OK ageing haha!) so I wanted to add a product into my everyday skincare routine that could help with under eye puffiness and dark circles.
I have a very early start due to my long commute for my job, so I had read this was great for sleep-deprived eyes. Check out my tips for a long commute here. It contains a high concentration of caffeine and EGCC (Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside), which is a potent poly-phenol in green tea. These ingredients provide a mix of antioxidants and anti-inflammatories which helps the delicate skin around the eye area and reduce puffiness and dark circles. It aids to brighten and revive the area and I must say it feels so soothing on the skin. I massage a couple of drops of this onto my eye area every morning and night along with my current skin routine.
I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin around my eyes from using this product for a few weeks now. Overall the puffiness I was experiencing has reduced and the condition of my skin seems more glowing. For £5.80 this a product that will continue to be a staple in my skin routine.
